Schedule a Food Pantry Appointment

October 10, 2021

Schedule a Food Pantry Appointment

The Durango Food Bank provides client-choice food assistance by appointment. Households may visit the pantry up to two times per calendar month.

Please choose the option below that applies to you.

General Information

Household Visits:

  • Households may visit up to (2) times per calendar month.
  • Only one adult may shop the pantry per household, per visit
    • Because space inside the pantry is limited, we ask that only one adult from each household enter to shop.
    • We understand that some clients may need additional assistance because of a disability, mobility restriction, caregiving responsibility, language need or another limitation. Please contact us before the appointment or speak with staff upon arrival so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
    • Children may accompany an adult when another childcare option is not available.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment to another household.

To cancel or reschedule:

  • Use your personalized scheduling link
  • Call 970-375-2672
  • Email appointments@durangofoodbank.org

Appointments missed without advance notice may count toward the household’s two visits for the month.

Walk-Ins and Immediate Food Needs

  • Appointments are strongly encouraged and receive priority.
  • We cannot guarantee assistance for walk-ins. When a walk-in can be accommodated, the wait may be longer so that clients with scheduled appointments can be served on time.
  • Clients who need immediate assistance or cannot attend during the available appointment times may contact us to discuss possible accommodations.
